Sunnie Brook Jones

Beauty is the quality that gives pleasure to the senses.

Sunnie Brook Jones had the good fortune to discover her passion for art and the beauty at an early age. She grew up painting and studying art, which eventually led to her working with Lancome makeup while she was going through cosmetology school to get her license. After 13 years of working as a hair and makeup artist, her desire to create and celebrate beauty is still growing.

In 2005, after a year’s training in the UK under the leadership of Toni & Guy International Artistic Director Craig Mason, Sunnie Brook opened her own salon in San Luis Obispo, California. Over the next four years she partnered with John Paul Mitchell Systems because she was impressed by the ethical and environmental consciousness demonstrated in their approach to the beauty industry.

Her work as a Paul Mitchell National Educator in Color and Cutting has helped her to realize how much she values the lifelong process of learning and believes in the importance of giving away her knowledge and skills. She has had the privilege and pleasure to work alongside Paul Mitchell Editorial Director Lucie Doughty traveling across the continent to teach their styling system.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Sunnie Brook has pursued her passion for editorial, print, and commercial work. She has enjoyed the opportunity to work with distinguished photographers such as Alberto Tolot, Alexi Lubomirski, Francesco Carrozzini and Steven Lippman and seen her work featured in Conde Nast, LUCKY, Flaunt, Tokion, and MORE! (UK) as well as many other publications.

Currently based in Beverly Hills, she remains committed to delivering classic, relevant styles to her clients from Los Angeles to London.
